The Red gate (Krasnye vorota) and Lermontov′s monument

In the morning I get to work by commuter train which arrives at Yaroslavsky train station. Then I usually go by subway but sometimes I can walk some part of way. Krasniye Vorota subway station is the closest one which you can reach in a very short time if you walk in the direction of the centre. The exit from the subway is in one of the Stalin high-riser. A park where there is a monument erected in honor of Lermontov is situated on a little square between the high-riser and the buildings belonging to Russian Railways. By the way, the station used to be called Lermontovskaya
