Gagarin Square and Leninsky Avenue

 
Gagarin Square (until 1968 it was called the square of Kaluzhskaya barrier) is the point of intersection of Leninsky Avenue, Profsoyuznaya street, Vavilova street and the Third Ring Road. Here you can see the wide road interchange with specific look of 'Stalin' houses forming a sort of the front gate to enter the city center. The picture was taken on June 15, 2007, in the evening.
