Nikolay I monument on Isaakievskaya square (1)
А unique monument which has only two bearings is a joint creation of August Monferrent and Peter Karlovich Klodt. It is situated on Isaakiyevskaya square. Opposite the monument you can see Isaakiyevsy cathedral. To the right of the cathedral there is a brown building with a light roof and red marquise. This is Astoriya Hotel. Between the cathedral and the hotel the cranes hide the spire of Admiralty
